I have been investing in emerging markets for the past 25 years, with Citibank, AllianceBernstein and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). I also worked as an investment banker and in the oilseeds business in Brazil, and as a journalist in Venezuela. I enjoy writing and teaching and hope that through this blog I can help investors makes sense of the opportunities in emerging markets.

I teach a class on investing in emerging markets at the NYU Stern Business School.
